And so we are done with another Christmas. Ours was pretty much perfect – time with people that we love. A continual moving feast over a few days. Champagne flowing, ham consumed and (mostly) happy children. While the sun hasn’t been shining as much as we’d like, that’s the perfect excuse to stay inside and do puzzles, read, lay on beds in the middle of the day and just hang out.
And there’s always more ham and champagne to tend to…
How was your day?
Was Santa any good to you?
Is the ham actually the best bit of Christmas?
Gorgeous photos!
Our day was perfect <3
Thanks Kirsty x
My day didn’t look half as nice and peaceful as your beautiful pictures. OMG my mouth actually salivated at the pic of lobster and oysters, that is all I wanted for Christmas but only meat and salads at in-laws yesterday. Next year it will be at our house and there will be mountains of seafood. And champagne of course. *not-a-fan-of-ham* Merry Christmas Beth! xxx
I haven’t had a seafood lunch in years and I was completely sold on the idea – so delicious and no cooking!
They are really really lovely photos Beth! Oh look, You have chrissy decorations up on your blog too – Awesome!
Thanks Melanie. Hope you had a good one x
The ham! Oh the ham…
ALWAYS with the ham!
Fantastic photos and loved the ones of the girls and their Christmas stockings and the beach. All so wonderful. We had a wonderful time with our little family…no lobster or oysters but ham, chicken, lamb and prawns with lots of lovely salads followed by cheesecakes and individual trifles made by #2 granddaughter. We two oldies really enjoyed it all. xx
Looks like perfection. Ours was hectic but happy – we hosted for the very first time. I drank a barrel of champagne, ate my weight in ham and bread and laughed myself silly, then put myself to bed. Bliss!
Looks like the perfect Christmas to me ,no busy hustle bustle just a relaxing day,I aim to hAve one like that next year xx
