Made for walking

Yesterday a little package arrived in the mail box for one Miss Daisy May Macdonald.

I know, right?

Caroline from Hoot Kid was kind enough to send them to us and because I wanted to get the most use out of them Daisy was the lucky recipient with Harper having a crack in a few years time.

I’m quite jealous. I’ve always wanted a pair of red leather cowboy boots. Doesn’t everybody?

They HAD to go on right there, right then, regardless of what she was wearing.

And then naturally she strutted herself down the room. Up and back.

About 3 or 4 times. She loves them.

You can grab some too from here. Thanks Hoot Kid!

Note: I was given the boots for nothing – nice one! I wasn’t paid to write this post but wanted to, because the boots are awesome and I love this kid’s clothing label. So there.

LOVE. Beth, how many pairs of red shoes do you own, for you? Us women need to own at LEAST three pairs. They remind us to be wild.

Oh my. Aren’t they just The Bomb!

  • Annie M

My best friends Mum passed away recently and we all wore red shoes to her funeral and partied our pants off! Di ( my friend’s Mum ) had a pretty tough life but her philosophy was that if she had on a pair of red shoes she was ready to party and escape her woes. Hope Daisy enjoys partying in those beautiful red boots!

They are too cute, and she can get away with the boots and a skirt, I can’t!! I actually have red cowboy boots (amongst many, many others) not bright like those but a deep red, and get this they are made of eelskin, all sewn together on the foot bit and then normal embroidered leather up the calf. I love them!

@Edenland and @Annie M’s mum’s friend Di – I own two pairs of red shoes and one red and orange pair. The first thing I reach for when I need to perk me up. Just seem to put an extra spring in your step.

Bounce those boots Daisy. Too cute.
