It’s wonderful

My kids woke up this morning at 5.15. They have done this for the past 2 weeks or so and I’m kind of getting used to it. OK, not really. See now it’s 2 hours later and I feel like we should be at 11am and it’s 7 freaking 15 am. When do the clocks spring forward?

We had a lovely weekend. Filled with family and friends and sunshine and not much sleep. This morning I was trawling through my blog this time last year and stumbles across this post which I wrote almost one year ago today. Wow. Just wow. We’ve come a long way baby…

Call me a cheesy MOFO but this song just sprang to mind over the weekend. Things…life…it’s good. So good. I feel lucky and blessed and grateful beyond words. I love this song, I walked down the aisle to it at my wedding and right now, well, it’s just about how I feel. Cheesy and all.

: I see trees of green, red roses too
: I see them bloom for me and you
: And I think to myself what a wonderful world

: I see skies of blue and clouds of white
: The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
: And I think to myself what a wonderful world

And if that’s song too cheesy, you could always try this one. It works too. Chips! Chips!

  18. Hi Beth, I am a new follower of yours and thought I should make my first comment! If it makes you feel any better my day starts at 4.45am when the twins start to wake up. They are 6 months old and by the way one of the girls is called Harper πŸ™‚ It is currently 6.15am and Ive already had breakfast, done a load of washing and cleaned the kitchen! My 3 year old wakes up at 7am which is completely manageable but the twins waking at 4.45am is crazy! I end up going to bed at 8.30pm exhausted and feeling like a nanna.
