A wee drawing

By my wee lass.

She specialises in snails (in case you couldn’t figure it out). She completely nailed one months ago and after all the praise she got at the time, she now trots one out each and every drawing session. We talked her though her name (ball with a stick down the side, a snake and a smily face with a curvy stick etc…) and she did well for a little lady not yet 4.

Today I am grateful for learning. And teaching. And figuring stuff out. For being a parent. Again.

Playing along with Maxabella.

  2. Yeh, yeh the snail is cute BUT… she can write her name and she’s not even 4…!?!? Go Daisy!!! x

  3. Gorgeous & i love how children draw how they feel before school – where they might get the kind of teacher who shows them how to draw!! That’s so annoying, especially if they teach them to draw stick figures instead of how children really draw people – with fat necks & nobble knees!! Happy days & a drawing future. Love Posie

  4. Fantastic! That’s one good looking snail.

  5. I’m super impressed. My four year old son can’t even write an “M” let alone his own name. This girl is super clever (and so is mummy). Obviously. xx

  6. That would be ‘daisy’ I’m guessing…she did very well and I love her snail!

  7. Very impressive! xx.

  8. Amazing work by your daughter (and you for teaching her)! As a teacher of 4 year olds you should be very proud of what she is achieving 🙂

  9. Love the snail! I can see why she trots it out every time. 🙂
