Everything you own in a box…to the left

This time next week this will all be over. This time next week this will all be over. This time next week this will all be over. This time next week this will all be over. This time next week this will all be over. This time next week this will all be over. This time next week this will all be over.

This Saturday I am grateful that this time next week this will all be over.

We here at the Macdonald house are drowning. In boxes. And stuff. If you need me sometime this weekend, this is where I’ll be. Packing. More stuff. I have found the boxes a good distraction for the girls for approximately 47 seconds so I can get some ‘good quality non distracting’ packing done in that time, which is a little different to the ‘shouty cranky sweaty mother’ packing that has been done all the rest of the time.

Anyway. We are nearly there. The girls have just 2 more sleeps left in this house that they have known their whole lives then Monday night they will trot off to my Mum’s place for the night so Rob and I can spend the night dismantling all our beds & furniture. Tuesday morning the removalists arrive, the cleaners Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday we will be settled. Done. Moved out.

And, ah, homeless for 10 days.

That light, at the end of this tunnel,  is  out there somewhere, I am just yet to see it.

Head over to Maxabella’s to see what others are grateful for this Saturday.

I’ve moved so many times and I hate it. It’s the chaos that gets me the worst, I think. LOVE unpacking into the new house though.
Good luck with it all, I’m looking forward to the move (since I only have to read about it this time =D )

Blerk. Moving! Have done my share of it, just the thought of having to do it again males me feel tired! But, the feeling of unpacking and making a new house a home? I’m a little addicted!

Beth, it was such a pleasure to meet you today. I *love* your About Me blurb …. can you please make me some jam?

Best of luck with the move, what an exciting adventure. It’s what life is all about, good on you. Your children are divine.
