Well I’ll be….

A lesbian marine corps soldier apparently…

No really I’m not. I did however get my hair cut on Friday with my groovy lesbian hairdresser and she has taken the cut to the next level. I mean can I really pull this off? It’s pretty cutting edge and might be all the go for groovy lesbians but I am a 30 something mother. In any case it will grow back.
What I am surprised about is the fact that Daisy is starting to get interested in going to the toilet. Yesterday we were at my brothers place for lunch and she pointed to her nappy and said “poo poo” so I asked if she wanted to go to the toilet and she said with so much gusto “YES!”. So as a laugh I put her on and I will be damned…she did a wee! We were both so surprised and her efforts and I thought it was a case of beginners luck.

Then, this morning we were out for a walk and the last part of the walk she looked uncomfortable and kept saying “poo” (I know this is just so interesting and the details of my life are riveting) so I asked her if she wanted to go to the toilet and she said with the same amount of passion “YES!” so I put her on and she sat there happy as can be, proud as punch and then…..a POO! In the TOILET! I was so very proud and she was intrigued to check it out. I think this means that I have to start to get serious about this and get a potty etc etc. I just didn’t think that this would be happening so soon!

I personally love the haircut! If I could rock short hair like that I would, sadly though- my face is a little too chubby!

Ha! I also love the hair, it IS very cutting edge, and don’t let anyone tell you that a Mom can’t pull that off. You look great!

That is ADORABLE and very exciting that Daisy went poop in the potty! Have fun with the potty work there, I will say from the other side that it’s not as bad as you think it’s going to be and MASSIVELY liberating when you can cut out the diapers!
